RAPID SHAPE PRESENTS ITS
INNOVATIVE POST-EXPOSURE DEVICE RS CURE AT THE IDS – FOR THE FIRST TIME IN XL-SIZE!

IDS opens its doors in Cologne, Germany, on March 14. For 100 years, it has been one of the most important trade fairs for the dental industry and Rapid Shape, German manufacturer of 3D printers for dental applications, will be there again as an exhibitor in 2023. As one of the leading manufacturers of precision 3D printing systems in the dental market, Rapid Shape is known for its expertise and resulting high quality. Rapid Shape uses digital light processing (DLP) for its 3D printers. Only with this technology can high-resolution parts be printed with repeatable accuracy over a long period of time. The handling remains manageable and inexpensive at the end. The integration of all units forms a reliable workflow. The finish is achieved by the proven RS wash and RS cure.

NEW! RS CURE XL – PROVEN POST-CURING NOW IN EXTRA LARGE!

Rapid Shape now offers “RS cure XL”, the first post-exposure device that fits seamlessly into the validated workflow for post-curing numerous and large print objects. No gas is required during use, keeping the usage cost at a manageable level. The investment in the device pays off quickly! The RS cure XL is thus the perfect addition to Rapid Shape’s fully automated 3D printers D50+ as well as D100+ and can be added to the large production lines “RS inline”. Thanks to the proven 360° exposure and modern vacuum technology, short post-exposure times and the usual high quality are achieved. Using the new RS cure XL post-processing unit is almost self-explanatory. The few steps are shown on the display. The intelligent link enables communication between the 3D printer and the post-processing device, whereby the presettings are selected automatically. This is optimal, as essentially only one click is required for the entire process.

RAPID SHAPE REPRESENTS AUTOMATION IN 3D PRINTING

Additive manufacturing is ideal for the production of plastic models for dental indications. This includes highly efficient 3D rapid prototyping and ultra-fine resolution manufacturing. When developing its 3D printers, Rapid Shape thinks in all dimensions. Depending on their needs, users can choose the small D20+ model, the compact D30+ model or the fully automated D50+ 3D printer. In the end, the user receives perfectly aligned solutions for an optimal workflow. With a large volume and the automatic separation unit (ASM) of the D50+ 3D printer, users can catapult their daily piece counts into new dimensions. Printed parts are automatically separated from the build platform and collected in a basket. The next print job is started immediately. Rapid Shape will be showcasing its D20+, D30+, D50+ 3D printers and even the large RS inline production line at its booth K-89 in Hall 4.2, where the team will be happy to demonstrate its numerous highlights to interested parties.

ALIGNER PRODUCTION IN FLEXIBLE QUANTITIES WITH THE D100+ CABINET FROM RAPID SHAPE

Additive manufacturing is increasingly becoming more and more about automation as well as high volume production. Quality, precision, time and cost savings are features to be taken into consideration and Rapid Shape is confidently leading the way. Flexible production, for example of individual aligner models, is possible on a customizable scale with the D100+ Cabinet 3D printer. The 3D printer meets the requirements for a large print area, validated ortho models as well as aligner precision. Durable quality makes it a 24/7 production unit. As a stand-alone solution or in combination with a production line, the D100+ Cabinet 3D printer delivers perfect results. For true series production without unnecessary downtime.

INNOVATIONS OF THE RAPID SHAPE MATERIAL PARTNERS

Rapid Shape is very proud of its numerous material partnerships with leading manufacturers. This combines strengths, offering users full flexibility. The „Innovation Corner“ at the Rapid Shape booth is worth seeing and shows numerous applications of Rapid Shape‘s partners, thus conveying the diversity of materials. Rapid Shape‘s 3D printers, like the material bottles, are equipped with RFID technology to support accurate tracking of the work process. The material bottle can simply be scanned after filling the material tray. The printer display shows whether the correct material has been selected. In addition, when the printing process is started, it is automatically checked whether the resin selected in the CAM software matches the one in the tray. This provides security and prevents incorrect print jobs. The open material system of the Rapid Shape 3D printers allows free selection from over 200 resins for a validated workflow.
