DMG & Rapid Shape publish material partnership of 3D-dental printing

Heimsheim, 24th October 2018: The material producer DMG and the 3D-printer manufacturer Rapid Shape are bundling their strengths and responsibilities with the announcement for the begining of their strategic partnership. Whilst DMG produces high-quality photopolymer, Rapid Shape is well-known for the manufacturing of precise, fast and robust printers. In close cooperation, validated materials would be developed for the customer and so Rapid Shapes’ strategy of open systems can be followed up and extended. The intention of the collaboration is to present high-quality 3D-printing material solutions for professional use in laboratories and dental clinics. First highlight and focus of the actual cooperation is the development of a material for splints. It is expected to have the first material parameters for IDS 2019 in Cologne.
