Rapid Lab Production with PRO 20 Printing Solution.

Rapid Shape has introduced the PRO 20 Solution for fast, high-precision production of hearing aids and protectors in laboratories. The PRO 20 system, featuring the PRO 20 3D printer, PRO wash, and PRO cure, optimizes lab productivity by delivering precise, high-shine prints while minimizing equipment management time.

Designed for scalable production, the PRO 20 consistently delivers top-tier 3D printing results and provides an easy learning curve for all team members. It prints up to 30 earmolds in 30 minutes, prioritizing speed and precision. With RFID material identification and intelligent communication between the printer, wash, and cure, users enjoy a streamlined workflow with minimal hands-on management and reduced room for error.

PRO 20 Solution Audiologie

The PRO 20 now includes two performance-enhancing features:

  1. RS Crystal Polish Reservoir – This feature delivers high-shine prints directly from the printer, reducing over 90% of post-curing polishing. Laboratories can produce clear, aesthetically refined hearing aids, shells, and protectors faster than ever, making it a time-saving innovation. The RS Crystal Polish Reservoir will be available for PRO 20 customers through authorized resellers starting November 2024.
  2. Force Feedback with RS Turbo – Rapid Shape’s patented Force Feedback technology makes the PRO 20 printer over 20% faster than other DLP printers, without compromising quality. The system uses sensor feedback to reduce waiting time between layers, saving valuable minutes on each print job. With RS Turbo, Rapid Shape’s PRO 20 becomes the fastest precision DLP printer for audiology on the market.

The PRO 20 Solution will be showcased at the EUHA Congress in Hannover, from October 16-18, 2024. Visit Rapid Shape at hall 6, booth 125 to learn more about scaling your production with the PRO 20.

Rapid Shape Technology for Audiology

Precision 3D printing is critical in audiology, where creating custom, highly detailed parts like hearing aids and earmolds is essential. Rapid Shape utilizes Digital Light Processing (DLP), to produce highly accurate 3D-printed parts for audiology applications. DLP uses UV light from a fixed digital light projector, powered by energy-efficient LEDs emitting at 385 nanometers. With the ability to fine-tune the intensity of the UV light, this process ensures exact material control, allowing for high-quality, patient-specific devices.

Rapid Shape’s open material system supports over 74 validated audiology materials, each optimized with tested printing parameters. The flexibility of this process, combined with its speed and precision, makes it ideal for professional audiology manufacturing needs.
